Insurance Lead Call Scripts – Seal the Deal Using the Right Words

Making the Call

Here’s a sample script that’ll help you get started:

“Hello, may I speak to Anne Smith?… Hi Anne, I’m Jack Andrews from 123 Insurance. I’m calling to give you more information about the health insurance options you requested online. From what I have here, it looks like you’re looking for [insert specific details from your prospect’s information]. Is that correct?”

Continue the conversation going after your prospect responds. Keep things positive by assuring them that it’s a good decision.

“That’s great! You know Anne, now is a really good time to purchase health insurance and I’ve got a few health plans here that I think will be a good fit for you. We can start discussing the details now if you want to, but before that, I want to know if you have any questions about health insurance. ”

If your prospect tells you to continue discussing the details then go ahead and do so.

However, if they say that they need more time, acknowledge their decision but prepare them for your next call.

“I agree, you should take your time in reviewing your options. When’s a good time for me to call back? Does Thursday afternoon sound good? Would you prefer a phone call or an email? ”

After setting up the follow-up schedule, make sure to make a note of it on your calendar in the lead management tool that we’ll provide you. This way, you’ll automatically get a pop-up reminder once it’s time to call back.

Don’t be too pushy with your prospects or else you’ll come off as annoying or desperate. Keep the positive tone and support their decision while suggesting other options.
